If you have a sweet tooth, I’ve got some news that will be “Good 4 U.” Olivia Rodrigo has partnered with Crumbl Cookie to create an exclusive GUTS Cookie and it’s now available in the Toronto area for a limited time.
Inspired by the singer-songwriter’s GUTS Tour, the cookie is popping up at select Crumbl locations across North America.

“This collaboration marks a celebration of creativity and flavor, bringing fans a memorable experience that perfectly combines music and the Crumbl experience,” Sawyer Hemsely, Chief Branding Officer and co-founder of Crumbl said in a press release.
It’s only available in the Toronto area for a few days in celebration of Olivia Rodrigo’s tour stop on March 29 to 30.
I decided to try this cookie myself, and here’s the lowdown on the taste, where to find it, and whether it lives up to the buzz.

The cookie
As described in a press release, the GUTS Cookie consists of “two chilled purple vanilla cookies sandwiched around delicious layers of triple-berry jam and light vanilla buttercream, rolled in colorful star-studded sprinkles, and topped with a star cutout.”
The treat is only available at Crumbl Heartland in Mississauga until March 30, 2024, so you don’t have long to get your hands on it.
The look
This cookie truly looks like it was made to be a star. The soft purple colour screams “Olivia Rodrigo” and the jam-filled star cutouts made me want to take a big bite.

The buttercream frosting is neatly spread between the two cookies and covered with vibrant pink sprinkles that add a fun pop of colour.
I was shocked by how big and heavy the cookies are — this is no treat for the faint-hearted!
The taste
One bite of this cookie gave me “déjà vu” in all the best ways. The nostalgic sugar cookie and jam flavours transported me back to my childhood.

The cookies are perfectly soft and fluffy, so it feels like biting into a cloud.
The buttercream is the real start of the show. I worried it might be grainy and overly sweet like some other icings can be, but it has a beautiful, smooth texture and just the right amount of sweetness.
The jam filling wasn’t overly sweet either and added a nice touch of fruitness and gooiness to the dessert.

The delicate vanilla flavours and silky-smooth textures of the GUTS Cookie made it hard not to eat the whole thing in one go.
The sweetness isn’t overpowering and the filling to cookie ratio is on point.
Overall experience
Whether you’re an Olivia Rodrigo fan or just a fellow dessert lover, this cookie is worth a try, especially since it’s only around for a limited time.

Given its size, it’s perfect for sharing or nibbling on throughout the day. I’ll admit, I had to exercise some major self-restraint not to reach for another one.
“It’s a bad idea, right?” Eating a whole box in one go?
