Toronto is full of restaurants offering just about every type of cuisine out there. Whether you’re craving Italian fare or Japanese dishes, you’re certain to find some in the city.
With so many options, choosing a place to eat can definitely be a challenge. If you’re looking for the best restaurants the city has to offer, then you’re in luck, because there’s a new destination that showcases the top dining spots in the city.
Online restaurant-reservation service OpenTable has just launched a new section within their platform called Icons that reveals the “hottest and most in-demand tables that Toronto has to offer.”
In order to qualify for Icon status, the restaurants have to meet criteria such as earning MICHELIN Stars and Bib Gourmand Awards, receiving good reviews, featuring renowned chefs and having high diner interest.
“Toronto is known for an abundance of award-winning restaurants that feature a variety of international cuisines, which are reflected on Icons,”Matt Davis, Country Director, OpenTable Canada said in a press release.
“Icons supports Toronto diners by showing them the earliest they can get an OpenTable reservation at these in-demand restaurants. Enhancing the search capabilities is another way in which OpenTable helps elevate dining experiences, from discovering to reserving tables.”
Twenty-four Toronto restaurants made the cut and you’ll want to plan a dinner date ASAP.
