This trail in Toronto is not for the faint of heart. The pathway takes you on a terrifying journey through underground tunnels and sinister scenes that will have your skin crawling.
Legends of Horror is returning to Casa Loma from October 3 to November 2, 2024. Presented by Captain Morgan, the immersive Halloween adventure features a 2 kilometre outdoor trail that winds through the castle grounds and into the dark tunnels beneath the street.
The experience is known as promenade theatre and allows you to move at your own pace through theatrical horror scenes.
The journey begins in the castle’s lower gardens, then winds through the underground tunnels and ends in the historic stables, where you’ll stumble upon the lair of Dr. Frankenstein.
Along the way, you’ll be met with nightmarish characters, grotesque scenes, 3D imagery projections and animatronics.
“We have added some terrifying new surprises in this year’s production, and guarantee an unparalleled experience for all ages,” Nadia Di Donato, Vice President and Creative Director, Liberty Entertainment Group said in a press release.
“Each year we go bigger and bolder, and we believe that our show will thrill, chill, disturb and delight, offering a unique experience on each visit. We promise an evening full of surreal fun, and quite simply, the best Halloween experience in the city.”
Starting October 18, families can enjoy a less scary experience during dedicated hours.
Tickets for the terrifying event are currently available online, so get ready to be spooked!
