This stunning park near Toronto has 3 white sand beaches that are among the ‘best in Canada’

You don’t need to get on a plane in order to experience a little taste of the tropics this summer. This dreamy park near Toronto is home to three stunning white sand beaches that will make you feel like you’re on a Caribbean vacay.

Located under three hours from Toronto, the area makes for a dreamy day trip or warm weather getaway.

You can lounge on the soft sand and enjoy the views of rolling dunes, take a plunge in the sparkling water and wander along the scenic trails.

Here’s where to find these gorgeous beaches with tropical vibes.

Sandbanks Provincial Park is a popular summer destination in Prince Edward County. The park features three white sand beaches which, according to the website, are said to be “among the best in Canada.”

Outlet Beach, Lakeshore beach and Dunes Beach are all dreamy spots for a swim. Outlet and Lakeshore beaches have gradual drop-offs, but Dunes Beach has an abrupt drop off so you’ll want to be careful when going for a dip here.

Sandbanks is also home to the “world’s largest baymouth barrier dune formation” and features rolling hills of velvety sand.

Aside from swimming, you can lace up your shoes and explore some of the scenic trails throughout the area. The Sandbanks Dunes Trail leads through the fragile dune habitat, while the Cedar Sands Nature Trail offers an interpretive experience with 12 stops.

You can even stay overnight at the park. There are 500 campsites available as well as a cottage to rent.

The park can get busy, so you’ll need to book a daily vehicle permit in advance if you’re planning on visiting.
