An officer conducting traffic control in the area of Bathurst Street and Bloomington Road reported hearing the sounds of gunshots just before 8 a.m. on Sept. 26, say York police. When the officer spoke to a man at a home, the police officer was told that two armed men, dressed in black, were observed in a backyard, say police.
