A new food hall is opening in Toronto’s Eaton Centre Wednesday. Here’s what to expect

After four years of sitting vacant, the former Richtree space on the lower level of the CF Eaton Centre is a food court again. Officially opening Wednesday, the Queen’s Cross Food Hall features 16 stations, serving sushi bowls, build-your-own pasta bowls, steak frites sandwiches, curries and more.

Created and operated by Oliver & Bonacini, the restaurant company behind such Toronto fine-dining stalwarts as Canoe, Auberge du Pommier and Jump, Queen’s Cross has been envisioned as a place for shoppers, tourists and workers in the underground PATH walkway to grab a meal that’s a step up from traditional fast food but less expensive than a sit-down restaurant.
