More than 430 workers at the Art Gallery of Ontario have reached a tentative deal with management in a bid to end a historic first strike for the gallery, the union posted on X early Thursday morning.
“Late into the night of their one month strike anniversary, after 16 hours of bargaining, OPSEU/SEFPO Local 535 representing @agotoronto workers reached a tentative agreement,” the Ontario Public Service Employees Union Local 535 posted on X, formerly Twitter. “The first strike at the AGO has been a historic demonstration of collective action — solidarity forever!”
