Apricot kernel product recalled due to cyanide poisoning risk, 1 person reported ill

Bitter Apricot Kernels sold by the brand Sareks is being recalled in Canada due to a risk of acute cyanide poisoning, with one reported illness associated with consuming this product.

In the recall, issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) on Wednesday, they say the affected products were distributed online.
