As the weather starts to cool, Ontario residents might start seeing some stink bugs, ladybugs, Asian lady beetles and more start to look for a spot to hibernate.
“Not only are outdoor temperatures dropping, but days are getting shorter. Insects detect and respond to these temperature and light cues in preparation for winter,” McMaster University faculty of science associate dean Rosa da Silva said on the university website.
