A person was stabbed near Nathan Phillips Square in the early hours of Sunday, Toronto police said.
Shortly before 1:30 a.m., police responded to reports of an altercation in the Bay Street and Queen Street West area. Police reported that the suspect had stabbed the victim following the altercation.
