Bombardier workers at Toronto facility on strike after failed contract talks

More than 1,300 unionized workers at Bombardier began striking against the Canadian aircraft manufacturer on Sunday after contract negotiations failed.

The Unifor Local 112 and the company didn’t reach an agreement before the 11:59 p.m. strike deadline on Saturday and on Sunday 1,350 employees stopped work at the aircraft manufacturing facility based at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
