Carolyn Parrish appears to have won the race to be Mississauga’s next mayor on Monday after a hard-fought and contentious race that looked increasingly close in the weeks leading up to election day.
With 97 per cent of polls reporting, Parrish had received 43,091 votes compared with 34,647 votes for her nearest rival, Ward 2 Coun. Alvin Tedjo.
