City eyes new move to ease congestion on rapidly developing east Queens Quay

Dedicated bus lanes may be coming to Queens Quay next year in a move designed to help ease congestion in the rapidly developing eastern waterfront until a light rail line can be built.

Council’s executive committee voted Tuesday to ask staff to report back early next year on whether one of the two traffic lanes in each direction along Queens Quay East from Bay to Parliament streets could be turned into bus-only lanes.
