Doors Open Toronto is back. Here are five must-see places

Later this month, more than 150 of the city’s architecturally, historically and socially significant buildings will open its doors — so to speak.

“There’s just so many untold pieces of history in this city, and fun little story possibilities,” said Kristine Williamson, lead programmer for this year’s Doors Open Toronto.

A tour at the Park Lawn Cemetery is approximately 800 meters long and will spotlights the achievements of women interred there.

A tour at Guild Park will allow visitors to explore a unique collection of landmark architectural features preserved from some of the city’s most notable demolished buildings.

The Young Centre is participating in the Doors Open festival for the first time to provide a window into the creative spaces and processes that shape what audiences see on stage.
