Good Samaritan has car stolen while rendering assistance at Highway 400 crash

When a Good Samaritan stopped at the scene of collision on Highway 400 to lend a hand Tuesday morning, he didn’t know that his act of kindness would cost him his car.

But the Ontario Provincial Police told the Star that’s exactly what transpired, when the man’s 2010 grey Honda Fit was stolen by suspected car thieves, who were seeking a means of escape, moments after exiting from an alleged stolen pick-up truck that was wrecked in the initial collision that had drawn the Good Samaritan’s attention.
