The Oakland Athletics’ logo in a Rogers Centre hallway is looking a bit greener these days thanks to Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong.
In a video posted on his Instagram on Thursday, the pop punk singer, 52, appeared to show himself spray painting a green ‘B’ over the A in the Oakland, Calif., team’s logo and crossing out the word ‘Athletics’ in a hallway lined with other MLB team signs at the Blue Jays home stadium. Armstrong shushed to the camera before and after defacing the sign.
