One of three men accused of murder in a brazen restaurant shooting in Mississauga three years ago disclosed just days later how the killing had been meant to keep the victim from telling police about the men’s ties to a terrorist group, a Brampton jury heard Tuesday.

But the accused killer only opened up to an acquaintance about the killing after the three made the man swear allegiance to the Islamic State and one of its leaders, that acquaintance testified.
