The City of Markham has proclaimed today, Aug. 9, 2024, as Andre De Grasse Day.
“I hereby proclaim today as Andre De Grasse Day! In celebration and in honour of Andre De Grasse becoming Canada’s most decorated male Olympian, and the Canadian men’s gold medal finish in the 4x100m relay,” Mayor Frank Scarpitti posted on X. “We’re so proud of you!”
