The westbound express lanes on Highway 401 west of Don Valley Parkway will be closed until around noon on Wednesday as crews clean up a tractor trailer fire, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say.
The OPP say that a tractor trailer collided with a barrier along the westbound Highway 401 near the off-ramp to Bayview Avenue around 5:10 a.m. The collision ignited a vehicle fire, and the driver was transported to the hospital with “minor injuries,” according to the OPP.
