The Picnic Café at the Evergreen Brick Works had just finished a large-scale renovation before they were hit by a devastating flood that prompted an evacuation during Tuesday’s storm.
Since the Brick Works is located in a floodplain, they’re unable to obtain flood insurance, said co-owner Michael Sullivan.
