‘It’s not safe to be in there’: Investigation into cause of St. Anne’s church fire could take weeks

The investigation into what started the fire that destroyed Toronto’s historic St. Anne’s Anglican Church, and the murals it housed by members of the Group of Seven, could take weeks, according to Toronto Fire Services.

“Because the roof has come in, this whole structure is very unstable,” said Dave Denysek, division commander at Toronto Fire Services.
