Kenneth Law’s lawyers seek to intervene in another case involving self-inflicted death

The lawyers for a man accused of murder for allegedly shipping suicide kits across the province have applied to intervene in a case before the Supreme Court of Canada, which aims to clarify what makes someone culpable for homicide.

Kenneth Law is facing 14 charges of first-degree murder and aiding or abetting suicide for allegedly shipping materials that led to the death of vulnerable people in Ontario. Police have said Law allegedly shipped more than 1,200 packages to more than 40 countries, although the charges he’s facing are only connected to people in Ontario.
