The LCBO says stores will be closed for 14 days if unionized workers go on strike next week.
In the event of a strike, the Crown corporation said Thursday it has a plan in place which would continue online retail services and eventually offer limited in-store shopping. After the first two weeks of the work stoppage, 30 LCBO stores will begin to open for in-store shopping for three days a week — Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (The 30 stores were not identified.)
