Man charged in prescription fraud case after person falls ill, police believe there may be more victims

A man has been charged for criminal negligence and prescription fraud after a victim reported serious health problems after being treated at a medical spa in Aurora, according to York Regional police.

The man, who police say is not a licensed medical practitioner, was prescribing medication for patients using other doctor’s prescription pads, York Police Const. James Dickson told the Star.
