A Toronto police officer is in hospital after the driver of a stolen vehicle struck a police car in North York on Sunday.
The officer had located the stolen vehicle in the Jane Street and Stanley Road area at 4:12 p.m., according to police. The force told the Star that there wasn’t a pursuit, but the stolen vehicle nevertheless hit and damaged the police vehicle.
