One woman is dead and four others are in hospital, including a man in critical condition, after being rescued from a residential fire in Dufferin Grove early Wednesday morning.
Toronto fire told the Star they saw heavy smoke when they arrived at 140 Rusholme Road near College Street and Dovercourt Road just after midnight after a call for a one-alarm fire.
