Ontario to see partial lunar eclipse and ‘Death Star’ supermoon on Tuesday. Here’s when to view it

Toronto is set to see a partial lunar eclipse and supermoon on Tuesday night.

A partial lunar eclipse occurs when a shadow is cast onto the moon from Earth passing  between the sun and moon. Supermoons happen when the moon moves  closer to Earth — as it doesn’t orbit in a perfect circle — and makes the moon look much larger in the sky.
