A 32-year-old man from Toronto has been charged in connection with a sex-trafficking investigation.
Peel police said Thursday that the man was arrested on June 7 after an investigation began in May, 2023 into a woman being exploited in the sex trade in Peel Region. Investigators allege the man exercised control over aspects of the victim’s life and profited financially from it.
