Toronto’s mayor says she has been working with members of the provincial government as part of her attempts to speed up construction on the Gardiner Expressway that has added dramatically to the city’s traffic woes.
Though she would not give any details about what was discussed, Mayor Olivia Chow told the Star that it was “no secret” that she had been meeting with Transportation Minister Prabmeet Sarkaria.
