A pro-Palestinian demonstration is planned for downtown Toronto on Saturday afternoon, coming after a week of heightened tensions between protesters and police.
The rally is expected to begin at 3 p.m. outside the U.S. Consulate General on University Avenue, south of Dundas Street, according to a press release issued Saturday morning by organizers.
