RCMP charge Toronto couple after 570 Canadians lose millions to spoofed caller IDs

RCMP have arrested a Toronto-based couple accused of defrauding Canadians of millions of dollars using false caller IDs.

Chakib Mansouri, 29, and Majdouline Alouah, 31, are allegedly responsible for defrauding at least 570 victims by using spoofed caller IDs to pose as employees of trusted institutions.
