Stacie Dunlop knows you can’t easily find a home like hers in Toronto.
A contemporary vocal performer, Dunlop’s thundering, operatic notes are blunted by soundproofing, but even if the noise carried, she’s certain her neighbours won’t mind. Her studio, with soaring ceilings high enough to hang aerial silks not far from a piano where she teaches vocal lessons, is part of a unique and affordable live-work community for Toronto’s artists.
