Toronto’s west end and Mississauga saw widespread flooding and power outages after severe thunderstorms rolled through southwestern Ontario and much of the Greater Toronto Area. Meteorologists also confirmed that a tornado touched down in Ayr, Ont., some 30 kilometres away from Kitchener, Ont.
