Taking the stand at her own high-profile disciplinary tribunal, embattled senior officer Supt. Stacy Clarke said she was “deeply sorry” for her role in a promotions scandal that shook the force, telling a packed auditorium she wanted to take accountability for her wrongdoing and “tell the why” behind her actions.
“I apologize sincerely, first and foremost, to the six officers that had to be a part of my misconduct. I apologize sincerely to the organization,” Clarke said Wednesday.
