Ontario’s police watchdog, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), says it is investigating the circumstances surrounding a 23-year-old man’s death while in hospital under Toronto police custody.
On Apr. 25, Peel police were called to a Circle K at&nb 7970 Mavis Road in Brampton and found a man there who was wanted by the Toronto Police Service (TPS). He was then brought to a TPS police station.
