A soggy April is forecasted to come to an end with more rain for Southern Ontario — and with some locations, like Barrie and Pearson airport in Mississauga, in the running to break their all-time monthly records.
Barrie’s pretty much a lock to break its monthly all time record, according to Environment Canada meteorologist Geoff Coulson, explaining that rainfall totals for April out of Shanty Bay near Barrie are already at their second highest ever since data started being tracked at that site in 1973.
