Moments after meeting up with two men near a Brampton school, a breathless Chadd Facey called his friend “to come get him right now,” a court heard Monday on the first day of the high-profile assault trial of off-duty Toronto police officer Calvin Au.
Shortly after the call, 19-year-old Facey lay injured on the grass, requiring the help of his friend to get him into a nearby car to be taken for medical help.
