Mayor Olivia Chow is urging the province to reconsider its decision to abruptly shutter the Ontario Science Centre, arguing that the agreements Queen’s Park has signed with Toronto mean Premier Doug Ford’s government can’t abandon the facility.
“The province can’t just walk away,” Chow told reporters at a press conference Wednesday morning ahead of a council meeting where the fate of the 55-year-old Flemingdon Park attraction will be discussed.
