The third annual Toronto Michelin guide is out, and once again I can’t afford to eat at the newly starred places — we’re talking $175 tasting menus. However, their picks for “recommended” restaurants, places that Michelin still considers having good food and service, tend to be restaurants with more diverse types of cuisines and price points, and many of them don’t require a reservation three months in advance. From a beloved pasta shop to a Goan restaurant in an office building, here are four Michelin-recommended places to check out.
