Found as a stray and at risk of being euthanized at only a year and a half old, Robby, a terrier mix, was saved by a rescue organization and driven with two other dogs to Toronto from Texas.
Robby was suspected to have been abandoned by a family, because he was already house-trained when he arrived in Canada. “He really had manners,” said Ipling Lau, who adopted him, following her diagnosis with breast cancer during the pandemic. “It didn’t take long for him to settle in.”
