A boy just shy of his second birthday has died, police said Friday, after he was hit by a recycling truck in Barrie.
Barrie Police Services said in a press release they were called to Red Maple Lane after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday for what was initially reported as a collision in a neighbourhood that appears to be a new-construction subdivision near Mapleview Drive and Yonge Street.
