Toronto braces for bitter cold Saturday as snow advisories issued for other parts of southern Ontario

A snowfall advisory has been issued for parts of southern Ontario as much of the province, including Toronto and its surrounding areas, brace for bitter cold temperatures Saturday night into Sunday morning. 

Winter is off to a frosty start in Toronto after some snowfall the past two days. Environment Canada is calling for a high of -7 C and a wind chill of -18 C throughout a mainly sunny day, before dropping to -15 C at night with a wind chill of -20 C. Places such as Barrie and Collingwood, Ont., are expected to see temperatures as low as -21 C overnight.
