Toronto broke its rainfall record for July 10 after the remnants of Hurricane Beryl passed through the region, Environment Canada said.

Pearson airport saw a total of 46.1 millimetres of rain Wednesday, beating the previous record of 33.4 mm in 2006, the weather agency confirmed on Thursday.
