A Toronto man whose AI-generated holiday cards drew backlash on social media and triggered an apology from winter market organizers says he understands why people are upset — but he has no plans to stop selling them.
Dylan Hachey first started selling the cards last year. He and his wife Breanne Kaduk, who live near the St. Lawrence Market, run a small business selling vintage ceramic Christmas villages. When they thought their booth at a market last year looked a bit empty, Hachey started making the cards.
