Toronto paramedics’ refusal of overtime and calling in sick is ‘inappropriate’ labour action, chief says in memo

The memo was written Sunday by Bikram Chawla, chief of Toronto Paramedic Services, and shared with the city’s 1,400 paramedics. In it, Chawla voiced his concerns that the paramedics’ actions could “endanger public health and safety.”
