Toronto police arrest seven as part of global anti-fraud investigation

Toronto police say they made seven arrests as part of a global law enforcement operation focused on transnational fraud from West African organized crime groups.

The work was part of Interpol’s Operation Jackal III — which ran from April 10 to July 3 of this year in 21 countries, Interpol says — and has involved multiple investigations, according to a Toronto police press release from Friday.
