Toronto police, fire and paramedics quickly arrived on scene, and a man was rescued from the top of the car became submerged in the frigid waters after driving off a boat launch attached to a parking lot at Ashbridges Bay near Woodbine Beach. First responders had to extricate a 25-year-old woman from the vehicle.
