Toronto police are looking for a man who allegedly fired a shot while fleeing from an officer during a traffic stop in North York.
An OPP officer stopped a white Lexus SUV in the area of William Allen Road and Lawrence Avenue West at 3 a.m. on Friday, police said. The male driver then allegedly fled on foot westbound on Lawrence then southbound on Marlee Avenue, firing a single shot from a “firearm” while police pursued on foot, they added.
