Get ready to turn up the air conditioning as swelteringly humid weather is expected to hit the GTA this week.
In an alert issued on Saturday, Environment Canada said a “heat event” for southern Ontario is forecasted to begin on Sunday and may continue into Tuesday before a cooler air mass is expected to arrive.
