Passengers on a Via Rail train travelling from Toronto to Windsor were rescued by workers on a nearby Canadian National Railway Company train Wednesday night after the Via train became stuck on the tracks.
Workers and a locomotive “were dispatched to rescue” a Via train which was “stranded on the tracks,” CN confirmed in a statement to the Star.
